Exactly 1 month after busting my Waroo bridles, I finally got everything squared away with Best, and was finally able to get out and ride. In the interim, I’ve learned how to sew larkshead loops with my sewing machine, so I will be making my own bridles from now on.

Went to East Sandwich tonight after work with Ed. Wind and waves from Hurricane Florence made for some interesting conditions. Direct onshore winds are always tough, and I was having to ride out into some decent sized whitewater switch stance, which is a pain. Conditions were too weird to do any tricks, but it was good to get out. The sun is starting to set really early now, which sucks.
