I went over to Wood Neck after the rain stopped, but it really wasn’t happening there. The Cape Codder was creating a huge wind shadow. I probably could have gone, but it wasn’t looking that hot, so I gambled and drove over to Woquoit.

Woquoit on the other hand was totally blasting. Ed had just put his 7m Waroo down so I rigged up my lines to it and took it out. Ended up being totally lit for most of the afternoon on it. I am getting much better at doing grabs in the air, and I did one successful air-jibe/transition although it was pretty sorry looking. First time I’ve done one though.

The wind died in a hurry around 4 pm, so I came back in. I could have used my 9m Waroo but I was tired by that time. Rob took it out, and although he was able to stay up wind, he could have used more power.
