Went to Chappy after work today, and was feeling like I would be underpowered on my 9m Waroo. Luckily, Rob was coming in with his new-to-him 12m Waroo, and was gracious enough to let me go out for a ride with his gear. Didn’t want to go too nuts with Rob’s gear, butI was able to scoot upwind, and did a few grabs in midair, and had some nice bottom turns on waves. Nevan was out doing some ill moves as usual. Kept hogging the shorebreak, but I was able to get in there for a few down-the-line rides. Tomorrow is looking good as well.
