Was at work today and it was blowing 20 at Chappy. I was pretty psyched to try some initial board-off tricks. Of course, since I have the best luck in all the world, when I got to Chappy, it had dropped to about, oh, 10. Nice. Good thing I brought my skim board. I ended up having a pretty good time on the skimboard with my 9 Waroo, which is surprising. For a while there I was crankin’ up wind! I tried to do a jibe and came really close, but didn’t quite have the kite timing down. Then the wind died a bit more and I packed up. Like Rob said, a nice night to be on the beach, and no wind chill!
