The wind picked up unforcasted this afternoon. It started kicking up around 2 and died around 6, so I suspect thermals. Anyways, I took a couple vacation hours and headed down to Wood Neck for a quick session before my evening plans. I had a great time riding my twintip fast and doing jumps, then I switched to my skimboard and rode that for a while. Wasn’t doing so good on the skim today, but I did have some long down the line wave rides, and did one totally massive ollie where I angled the board into the wind to stay on my feet. But other than that, I was falling off a lot and missing about half my jibes.
