Wind Log: September 21st, 2006
Took an early lunch, and went to Wood Neck this morning with Rob. Really should have gone there at like 7 or 8 instead of waiting ’till 10, because as soon as Rob and I pulled into the parking lot, we saw the wind dropping right before our eyes. We rigged anyways, and got totally skunked. Bummer. A nice morning to be on the beach though, but the water is getting cold already.
You know, usually early fall is windy on the Cape. Usually right when I go back to school, the wind suddenly gets ballistic. But this year it has really sucked. I was talking to Rob and he also hadn’t had a decent session in over a month. What gives? Oh, I know. It’s because I live here full time now instead of heading back to school in Worcester.
